Staying at AOA LM room in Nov. I was told these rooms do not have a door between them that opens to the next room. But I have read that they do. Can you tell me for sure? Thank you

    Hi Jennifer,

I'm a little confused by your question. The Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation is all standard hotel rooms. They are all one room with two beds and a bathroom. Of course there is a door to the bathroom, but that's it. There is no other internal passage that would require a door. You could ask for connecting rooms, which would have a door between them, but you'd have to reserve and pay for two rooms to get this configuration.

The other sections of the AoA (Finding Nemo, Cars, Lion King) are larger family suites with two rooms and two bathrooms. There are real solid doors between the rooms. I've stayed in a Finding Nemo room and found it to be very well laid out for larger families.

If you were thinking that you had a family suite, you should give Disney a call and see about switching to another area of the resort.

Thanks for your question. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.
