We will be staying in AoA in July 2018. We booked the Little Mermaid room and so did my sister in law. We want to know how we can request room next to each other?

    Welcome back, Sheila!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my family's favorites! My kids love that there are different areas themed to Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. The Cars section is our favorite, and we are often found lounging in our Cozy Cone Cabana at the pool there!

You'll have even more fun on this vacation since your sister-in-law will be joining you! The Cast Members are happy to help you arrange to have resort rooms that are either connecting (with a door opening between them) or adjoining (near each other), so give them a call at (407) 939-5277 with both reservation numbers so they can add this request onto the reservation and link them together. It's also a good idea to call the resort the morning you'll be arriving and remind them of your request so they can have it in mind as they begin assigning that day's room arrivals. Just keep in mind that Cast Members cannot guarantee this type of request, but in my experience, I've found that they do their very best to accommodate guests who are traveling together.

Have so much fun planning your summer adventure at Walt Disney World, Sheila! Please stop back over the next few months with more questions as you continue to plan. We're happy to help!
