Hi Moms! Staying at AoA in family suite with my son & his family of 3. Can each of our magic bands have our own credit card attached or do all bands for the room have to be on the same credit card.Trying to figure out how to keep cost of purchases sepa

    Hi Janice,

Everyone staying in the same room must use the same payment method for charging food/merchandise to their MagicBand. There is no way to have Mom charge items to her card and Son to charge items to a different card if they're staying in the same room.

My daughter recently visited Walt Disney World with two friends. They decided not to have charging privileges added to any of their MagicBands to avoid the confusion of figuring out who bought what and reimbursing each other. You don't have to have Band charging activated if it makes things easier for you. Nearly all food and merchandise locations take cash, credit cards, debit cards, and Disney Gift Cards as payment. If everyone pays for their own purchases with money, then there is no potential for mix-ups.

Additionally, you can choose to activate or deactivate the charging capabilities for any specific people in the room. Typically a family will deactivate charging for small children, but you could also deactivate charging for your son and his family so that they are "forced" to use another payment mode and not mingle their purchases with yours.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
