Hello! We are staying at AOA but would like to take the boat from Port Orleans to Disney Springs. Can we park at Port Orleans and take the boat?

Ahoy, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by with your question! I have a confession - I really like your idea! Disney's Port Orleans Resorts - Riverside and French Quarter are along my daughters' favorite resorts. Even when we are not staying there, we like to stop by the French Quarter Resort at some point for their delicious beignets. Our trip is not complete until we have enjoyed a good dozen ... and gotten powdered sugar all over us from head to toe!

Jennifer, as a guest staying in one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you are welcome to visit any other resort, subject to available parking. Some of the resorts have limited parking and Cast Members at the parking entrances do occasionally send guests to nearby "overflow" lots. I do not think you will encounter any issue parking at the Riverside Resort. The French Quarter Resort is a good bit smaller, so you may have to park at Riverside Resort. However, I would not give up the chance to park at French Quarter Resort for the chance to grab some beignets!

The Sassagoula River Cruise Ferry Boat Service is found just behind the main building at both of Disney's Port Orleans Resorts. Once aboard, you will sail down the two and a half mile Sassagoula River, past the Treehouse Villas and other guest buildings of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, before arriving at Disney Springs. This 20-minute ride is quite a peaceful and relaxing journey.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let me know if you have any other questions.
