I will be staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge and wanted to know what would be the best way to get to Magic Kingdom? Via my car or by bus or train?

    Hi Andrea,

The only Disney-provided transportation from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Magic Kingdom is by bus.

If you drive, you'll have to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then grab a monorail or ferry to get to the park.

For this reason, I generally recommend that guests take the Disney bus to the MK. It drops you right at the front gates.

If you have access to a car, it may make sense for you to drive to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Going from the AKL to the AK park, you'll be fine either driving or taking the bus. Both will take about the same amount of time.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
