Jambo, Marla! I frequently tell my friends who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel that they should consider taking a break from the parks midday to enjoy the amenities of their resort or to simply rest for a bit. The
complimentary transportation options provided to resort guests make this super easy. You will find bus transportation back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge just outside Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure and check the boards at the bus loop to see the number of your resort's designated spot.
I can understand how you may want to save some time and utilize a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. However, this is not going to be your best option when heading to Magic Kingdom Park, as rideshares must drop off guests heading to that theme park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. There, you will go through security for bag check and then either board the monorail or water ferry over to Magic Kingdom Park. This will end up taking a good bit longer than simply using bus transportation, which will drop you off directly at the theme park.
I have a very magical option to share with you!
Minnie Van Service works through the Lyft mobile app and is the thingamabob that can do the job of helping you save so much time. Simply pull up the Lyft app and input your destination. If you scroll to the far right section, you should find an option for Minnie Van Service. The price does vary by location, so be sure to check for it as you pull up your search. If you use Lyft often, also look to see if you have any special offers or codes in your account. In my experience, Lyft's special offers can be used on Minnie Van rides!
Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
