We'll be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge Oct 17-20. We have a 3 year old, and we've promised her we will see fireworks on our trip. Can anyone recommend where to view fireworks before 10 pm outside the parks on the 18the or 19th?

    Hi Lynda!

I love that you are planning for the best vacation for your daughter! It's so easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and forget all about bedtimes! Thank you for stopping by with your question.

My suggestion would be to head to Disney's BoardWalk for a delicious treat from Ample Hills Creamery, find a nice bench along Crescent Lake, and look up! IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is scheduled for 9 P.M. on October 19 & 20, 2016. While this certainly will give an obstructed view and will not present the entire experience as experienced on World Showcase Lagoon, this option has ice cream!

You could also hop aboard a bus bound for Disney's Hollywood Studios to catch the 8 P.M showing of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular on October 19, 2016. While I have not experienced it from this area, you should be able to see quite a bit of this incredible nighttime show from the courtyard just before the gates.

Come back and visit us again, Lynda! We love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
