    I will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge in February and will be traveling with my 12 year old daughter. I was considering a spa treatment but don't think my daughter can be left in spa while I am in treatment room.  Any ideas?

    Hi Diana,

    The Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful and we recently stayed there in August. Make sure to look at the animals after sunset using night vision goggles.

    Your daughter is at a tricky age and you are right she really should not hang out at the spa while you are getting pampered. You could treat her to a manicure or a pedicure while you are at the spa. 

    Another option would be to book your spa treatment after 4:00 pm and have your daughter enjoy Simba's Cubhouse or another one of the Children's Activity Centers. The Children's Activity Centers are lots of fun for children and I know some children who never want to leave.
