    Hi, we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and have 10:30 a.m. breakfast reservations at the Grand Floridian (Mary Poppins Brunch!). How long will it take us to get there? Thanks!

    Hi Laurie,

    I did almost the exact same journey back in September when I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I had breakfast reservations at the Polynesian Resort which is next door to the Grand Floridian and it took me 1 hour to get there using the free transport. I caught the bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there boarded the resort monorail but you can also use the boat. As it's recommended that you check in for your dining reservation about 15 minutes early I would suggest you aim to get to the AKL bus stop at about 9am. The buses run approximately every 20 minutes so if you do happen to just miss one you will still have plenty of time to get to the GF. However if you find yourself arriving early this will allow you time to explore this fabulous resort!
