    Hi, we are staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge in April. I was wondering if it is possible to make use of the hotel facilities such as the pool for the rest of the day after checkout as we do not need to travel until much later that evening. Thanks

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my family's favorite places to stay when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort due to the unique theming, amazing dining options and fun recreational activities. 

    I am happy to report that Guests retain all of their resort privileges until midnight on the day of check-out. I can certainly understand wanting to make full use of the pool and other facilities at the resort if you have a late departure. My family lives approximately 4 hours from Walt Disney World, and we love to soak in every ounce of magic at our Disney Resort hotel before making the drive home.
