We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Kindani Village in May. We have a studio which I believe has a small kitchenette. Do we need to supply our own filters? Are their sponges and dish soap? Silverware? What is included already and what would we need?

    Welcome Home Mariel!

It looks like you have a roaring good time planned on your upcoming trip! You are staying at my most favorite Walt Disney Resort Hotel, so I know you will have a delightful time. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and having a giraffe peeking through the window! Did you know that over 30 species of African wildlife roam the savanna? Look out for the kudu; they are my daughter’s favorite!

The Deluxe Studios are the ultimate in safari luxury. They come equipped with toaster, microwave, coffee maker (with filters), as well as paper goods and disposable utensils. There is also a sponge, dish soap, and beverage glasses available.

When you venture outside of your room, head down to our family’s favorite restaurant - Sanaa. Animals roam on the savanna while you indulge in delicious African-Indian fusion. I highly suggest the Indian-style Bread Service, and my children’s favorite is the Butter Chicken. If you would like an up-close encounter with the residents of the savanna, book the Wanyama Safari and Dinner. You will enjoy a private safari followed by a multi-course South African feast at Jiko - The Cooking Place. Spots in the jeep fill up quickly, so call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 to book your reservation.

Mariel, I wish you a magnificent stay in your exotic kraal. Please swing back on by with any additional questions.

    Asante Sana ~ Rayna
