We are staying at the Animal Kindom Villas for the first time in April and was wondering what activites are available there in particular ones including the animals and animal viewing. I read somewhere about night vision goggles.

Hi Cameo! You're going to love the Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas -- the resort is so unique and luxurious that it's impossible not to have a magical time there! The resort has all sorts of animal and cultural programs throughout the day and evening, and you'll receive a schedule of activities when you check in. I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge earlier this summer, and here are just a few of the resort activities scheduled during my visit:
    • Night Vision Animal Viewing -- using night vision goggles to view the animals on the savanna
    • Animal Enrichment -- helping the animal keepers prepare and present interactive objects to the animals on the savanna
    • Flamingo activity -- learning more about the flamingos and pelicans
    • Culinary tours of the restaurants -- discovering Boma, Jiko, and Sanaa (including samples of a few items!)
    • African Folktales -- hearing stories of African culture around the firepit
Activities occur at both Jambo House and Kidani Villas, and guests can participate in all of them. Most are free, but there are also a few paid activities such as the Wanyama Safari and the Dine with an Animal Specialist program.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
