We are staying at AllStar Music Resort, and we are wondering what TV channels are available other than the Disney channel, we'd like to know what the weather would be for the next day if the Weather Chennel was available or newspapers.

I have a Disney resort TV channel listing in my hand. Bad me swiped it out of my hotel room on my last visit. Here's the list:

ABC, ABC Family, ABC News Now, NBC, CBS, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN Classic, ESPNews, Radio Disney, Toon Disney, Disney Channel, PBS, WB, FOX, PAX, UPN, Soap Net, BET, BET on Jazz, The Weather Channel, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, UNIVISION, Telefutura, DW (German), ESPN Deportes, TV Japan, CCTV-9 (China), and several local Orlando Independent Stations.

As you can see, the list is quite heavy on Disney owned and affliliated networks. Also on your TV you will find several channels that are internal to the Disney resorts. These include a channel that gives resort specific schedule information, a channel about the Disney Vacation Club (in English and Spanish), Company Clips (which shows short pieces of video from various Disney media), and my all time favorite TV anywhere, anytime: the Top Seven Must Sees at Walt Disney World Resort channel. The Top Seven channel features a goofy woman named Stacy giving you a quickly moving tour of theme park highlights. I love love love Stacy. She is simultaneously fun, annoying, energetic, crazy, weird, wild, and completely compelling. I'm completely addicted and watch her at least a dozen times each trip.

As far as newspapers go, all the resorts carry several in their gift shops including the Orlando Sentinal, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. You'll not be lacking sources of information during your vacation.
