Staying at All-Star Music in 11/2010; driving from MI. To get to MK and Epcot at the earliest time (extra magic hours), should we drive ourselves to the TTC early or wait for the bus? Does the bus make numerous stops along the way? Is bus best for AK/HS?

    Hi Susan,

I love taking the Disney transportation system to get around the Walt Disney World Resorts. I have rarely experienced a problem using the transportation to get to and from the parks. Disney does a great job coordinating park opening and closing with resorts. The buses will be there to get you to and from extra magic hours. From your resort, you will go straight to all of the parks.

One of the benefits of taking the transportation system is that my family loves to park hop and so we never have to worry about where the car is parked. In addition, no need to pay for parking.

However, having stayed outside of the parks and having to park at the parks, every park is easy to park except Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom lot is huge and you have to take a tram, boat or monorail to get into the park. Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios have easier parking and a tram will get you to the front gate with little wait.

If you have an Advance Dining Reservation at another hotel or a dinner show, you may want to drive to those locations.

    Have a magical vacation!
