We are staying at AllStar Movie Resort and will be going to the boardwalk area one evening for dinner. What is the best transportation to take from our hotel to the Boardwalk area?

    Hello Brittany,

Visiting Disney's Boardwalk and dining and enjoying the entertainment and sites is one of my favorite things to do in the evenings at Walt Disney World. If you are coming directly from Disney All-Star Movies Resort, there are a couple of options.

The quickest way is by taxi, which are readily available at the entrance of your resort. The fare plus tip will more than likely be under twenty dollars and yet have you at your destination in minutes.

If utilizing Disney's bus transportation, I recommend boarding the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once at Disney's Hollywood Studios you have a couple of options, you can take a leisurely stroll to Disney's Boardwalk along the waterway, it is approximately one mile. Or Guests can board the Friendship Boat, located out front of Disney's Hollywood Studios and peruse the waterway to your destination. Expect your travel time to take about fifty minutes.

Feel free to visit Guest Services at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort for other possible routes, they may have some other suggestions. Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and may it be magical and memorable. If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
