Hi! We will be staying at the AKL-Kidani Village in a couple of weeks for 10 days. My brother and his family live in the Orlando area and we would love to have them come spend the day with us exploring the resort. Can they come to the pool with us?

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Alicia!  We're glad you're hEAR!  I know you must be getting super excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation!  It will be here before you know it!  Your brother and his family are more than welcome to visit you at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village for the day. I think that sounds like a great way to spend a day in the "Happiest Place on Earth!" I called Disney directly to verify my information for you. The cast member I spoke with confirmed that Disney policy states that the Resort amenities (pools included) are only for guests staying on property.  The cast member stated that you can check with the front desk on the day of your brother's visit.  It would definitely be worth asking!  I'm so sorry if this was not the news you were hoping for.  Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions for you.  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Alicia!
    Happy Planning,
