    We are staying at AKL and were wondering if we have access to facilities at other Disney resorts? Specifically, we would like to spend an afternoon enjoying the pool at the Beach Club.

    Hi Janet!

    Unfortunately, the resort pools and facilities are for guests of that specific resort only. I know that Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club is nearly a water park itself and its very tempting to want to go visit but hopping over there for an afternoon won't be an option.

    During our last stay at the resort, our room keys were checked as we entered the pool area and received towels. Most days we also needed to show our keys in order to get a wrist bracelet. The bracelet lets Cast Members and lifeguards know that you are a guest of the resort and allowed to use the facilities.

    The good news is that the pool at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is pretty great too! While its not quite as big of a complex as the Beach club pool, it does offer a zero-entry area and fun water slide!
