Hi moms! Staying at AKL for the 2nd time Sep24-Sep28 before we head to our 1st 3night Disney Cruise, hoping to visit Disney's Boardwalk on our 1st night, how do we get to Disney's Boardwalk from AKL, and how late do the buses run back to our hotel?

    Hello Rachel,

What a magical and memorable vacation you have planned. The Disney Cruise Line is on my Disney bucket-list and I hope to make it a reality soon.

My best direct route from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney's Boardwalk is to take a taxi, which is readily available at the front of all Walt Disney World Resorts. But if you prefer to use Disney transportation, I recommend boarding a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once at Disney's Hollywood Studios you can take a 20-minute stroll along the path by the water to Disney's Boardwalk or board the boat from Disney Hollywood Studios and disembark at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel and walk over to your final destination.

For your return trip home to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, take not of Disney's Hollywood Studio's closing time, buses will run an hour or more after park closing or take a taxi back to your resort.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World and on the Disney Cruise Line.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
