    Hi Moms! We are staying at AKL Thanksgiving weekend. Have ADR at HS (Hollywood & Vine)at 9:05 Sat. morn. Depending on Disney transportation for everything. Will we be able to ride bus and make it on time or arrange another form? 54 days & coun

    If you look at the Disney parks calendars, found HERE, you'll see that on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend (November 29), Disney's Hollywood Studios has a regular opening time of 9:00 plus morning Extra Magic time at 8:00 a.m. for Disney resort guests. The Disney buses will begin running at least an hour in advance of park opening time. That means that there will be buses heading to the Studios by around 7:00, so you will certainly have transportation available to you. I would actually plan to leave the Animal Kingdom Lodge by 8:15 to make your reservation on time.

    I stayed at the AKL for the first time last weekend. (Loved it, by the way.) I found the transportation to the Studios to be quite reliable.

    I'll be at WDW over Thanksgiving weekend too. Be sure to say "Hi" if you see me in the parks.
