    We are staying AKL in May, are there laundry facilities in the hotel. Does each room come with a refrigerator or do you need to request one in advance

    Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a gorgeous hotel, I recently ate at Jiko there and can highly recommend it.

    Anyway, yes every room at Animal Kingdom Lodge has a small refrigerator, they are big enough to keep drinks and snacks cool.

    There are laundry facilities at AKL, when you check in you should be given a map of the resort and they will be listed on there. As far as I can tell there are facilities on the first floor of the Zebra trail and the second floor of the Kudu trail. They cost roughly $2 each and laundry soap can also be purchased at $1.
