We will be staying at AKL the last week of March. Is it typically warm enough to swim at that time of the year? We have an Arusha view room. Have read that upper floors (3 & 4) have better views Can we request a room assignment ahead of time? How

Hi Sandra! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is absolutely gorgeous, and your vacation is just around the corner! The average temperature in March ranges from a low of 56 degrees and a high temperature of 78 degrees. The pools throughout Disney resorts and water parks are heated, so your should be totally fine to swim. We were there in March a few years ago and the kids swam every night after the theme parks. The adults were bundled up poolside watching, but the kids had a blast splashing around.

You can definitely make a room request. You should call the resort directly at (407) 938-3000 about a week or two before your arrival. Although not guaranteed, they will certainly do their best to make your request happen.

Wishing you a magical vacation Sandra!
