    We are staying 9/24-9/29 at AKL. My husband is handicapped and we have requested an accessible room (standard). Do they have accessible rooms in both buildings, and if so, which building would you recommend? Thanks!!

    Hi Valerie!

    Yes, handicapped rooms are available in both Jambo House and Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas.

    Standard guest rooms are located in Jambo House. Disney Vacation Club villas are located in both Jambo House (a small number of rooms) and in Kidani Village. Since these room types are different, if you've booked a standard style room it will be located in Jambo House. If you've booked a villa, it could be located in either building but would be specified at the time you made the reservation.

    Personally, I love both of the buildings. Typically we do choose a standard room and are located in Jambo House. We've always had a great there, and the lodge is worth exploring! Be sure to head over to Kidani Village to check it out too - it is beautiful!
