Hi, Kim!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask us another great question! My family loves visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the fall season. The weather is pleasant and there are so many great events going on in the parks -- two of our favorites are the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I have to say that
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge tops our list of favorite resorts. We have stayed there multiple times and just can't get enough of the authentic theming, fabulous restaurants, outstanding activities, wonderful Cast Members and of course the African animals on the savannas.
Observation Station is part of
Uwanja Camp, the children's water play zone at the
Samawati Springs Pool located at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. There are 3 zones tailored to different age ranges:
Observation Station (kids age 4 and under),
Departure Zone (kids ages 5-7) and
Base Camp (kids age 8 and up).
Samawati Springs Pool is a great place to relax and have fun. The pool features a zero-depth entry and a 128-foot waterslide. Be sure to pick up a Monthly Activities Schedule from the Front Desk when you check in. The schedule will list all the activities available at your resort, including the poolside entertainment.
Wishing you a magical vacation! Please let me know if you'd like any additional information about Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas. It would be my pleasure to assist you further!
