We are staying at AKL and have access to kitchen. We were wondering if there is anywhere in the parks/resorts to purchase food and snacks?

    Hi Sandra,

You will love the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is such a breath taking and peaceful resort. The views of the animals are amazing.

You will be able to purchase a few basic items from the gift shop in the Lodge's lobby. The shop offers a selection of snacks, some breakfast items like doughnuts and cereal as well as a few frozen items, lunch meat, bread and beverages. We often bring some of our own items with us when we stay in a Disney villa with a kitchenette. Items like pop tarts, microwave popcorn, and granola bars travel pretty easily. If you are looking for a larger food selection you may want to visit www.gardengrocer.com prior to your vacation. This online site offers guest the opportunity to shop from a wide variety of choices and arrange to have your selections delivered to your resort upon your arrival. The service is dependable and reasonably priced.

    Wishing you an amazing time!
