    Will be staying at the AK Kidani Villa in June. Descriptions state that a coffemaker is included but I read on one site that can't use usual coffee in their coffemaker. Wanted to know what type of coffee can be used in the Villa coffee makers. Thank you

    Hi Mary,

    I don't know what site you've been reading, but in my experience you can use any usual brand of coffee you like in the villa kitchens. Many of the Moms Panelists have very specific coffee preferences and always bring their own to Walt Disney World.

    I've stayed at Kidani Village and used the coffee maker there. It's a fairly standard machine, similar to the ones that you could buy in any department store.

    I've written some articles about the villa resort kitchens for the independent website disneyfoodblog.com. There are no Animal Kingdom Lodge photos there, but the coffee machines are quite similar to those in the Beach Club photos. Look for a series of articles called, "The DVC Villa Kitchens."
