    i am stayinf for my first time using my dvc membership, will be staying at saratoga for nov 14th, have planed to use the dinnning plan but want to know how close is the nearest grocery store as we have a 2 bed villa.

    Hi Lisa,

    Welcome Home! I hope you have a wonderful time at Saratoga Springs Resort as it is located next to great shopping and dining at Downtown Disney.

    The nearest grocery is not going to be be in walking distance. There is a small "convenience" store on site but not everything is included here.

    You may want to use the Garden Grocer. This online company will allow you to purchase your groceries online and then have them delivered to your resort. You do not have to be at the resort when the grocery arrives as bell services will hold your items, even the perishables, until you return. There is a delivery fee and a minimum but schedule order so you do not get blocked from a delivery date.

    I usually pack non-perishables in my luggage for our vacation such as pasta, cereal and snacks. I then add the items such as sauce and milk to my grocery order. I then know how much room I have for souvenirs when I come home:)
