I stayed at the Yacht club over 20 years ago. I am heading down with my family and planning to stay at the Beach club this time. I seem to remember that you could catch the monorail from Epcot. Is that still available? Thanks in advance.

    Hello Catherine,

I just recently returned from running Disney's Princess Half Marathon and stayed at Disney Yacht Club Resort for the first time. I will have to say, I truly enjoy the location of all Disney's Epcot Resorts, the convenience of walking or boating to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios makes it high on my list as some of my favorite Walt Disney World Resorts to stay, when visiting.

Guests wishing to gain access to the monorail from these resorts, will need to enter through Epcot's International Gateway, which is located in World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom. Keep in mind, in order to do this you will need to use a Magic Your Way ticket to gain entrance into the park. Once in Epcot, make your way to Future World and exit through the front entrance of Epcot to get to the monorail.

Another possibility, in which you do not need to use your ticket, is to take a leisurely stroll or boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios and board a Disney bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center for access to Magic Kingdom park or any of the Walt Disney World Monorail Resorts.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable memories.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
