We have stayed at All Stars Music Resort before and I thought all family suites were near the main building and pool. We are debating between the cabins at FW or a family suite. We have 5 young children so being close to everything is important. Advice?

    Hi Robin,

I love the All Star Music Resort and the family suites. It is a great way to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation with a large family.

You are correct that the family suites are located near the main building and pool in the Calypso and Jazz buildings. This makes it easy to grab a bite to eat, hop on the bus or hang out at the main pool when taking a break from the parks.

The cabins at the Fort Wilderness Lodge are cool. Who would not want to sleep in a log cabin? However, this resort is spread out and often guests rent golf carts to get around to the pools, food and transportation. This resort has a ton of fun activities like archery, a petting zoo and great trails to walk on.

You might want to stick with the All Star Music for this trip if you want to keep everything in a small area. You can always visit the cabins when the children are a little older.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
