We have stayed at All Star and Pop Century. We like preferred rooms (close to food court). Would like to try Art of Animation (kid loves Ariel). Noticed it was in furthest building. Do they offer preferred rooms closer to main building or only suite

Hi there SteveaAnna! Thanks for visiting the DIsney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I enjoyed a lovely stay in one of the Little Mermaid standard guest rooms last December and loved the immersive storybook theming and attention to detail found throughout the entire resort! I called the Walt Disney Travel Company just now to verify my information for you. The friendly cast member that I spoke with confirmed that all of the Little Mermaid guest rooms are categorized as "standard." You would need to upgrade to a Family Suite if you have your heart set on a preferred room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. During my stay, my room was located in Building 8, which is the most distant from Animation Hall. I actually timed the walk from my guest room to Animation Hall, which took approximately 7-9 minutes depending on my pace. If your little one loves Ariel, then I would definitely recommend trying a Little Mermaid standard room during your next vacation. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip!
    Happy Planning,
