    I stayed at the port orleans riverside and a package arrived after checking out. Who should I contact to return my order?

    Hi there Rafael and welcome to planDisney!

    I hope you had a great time during your most recent stay here at Walt Disney World Resort; the weather definitely had a lot of ups and downs this month so I'm glad that it's finally returned to a bit of sunny Floridian normalcy now! As someone who has had a number of orders and packages sent directly to my Disney Resort Hotel, I've personally experienced quite a few different ways that the Cast Members at each Front Desk handle packages as they arrive and here's what the folks at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside had to advise about your situation:

    • At the current time, they let me know any packages that have been received for guests after they have checked out are typically returned to the sender. The Cast Members were unable to provide any timeline as to when they are sent out again, and the folks at Bell Services let me know that they typically don't call or contact any guests if packages arrive and they have already left from their stay.
    • I recently had a similar situation this year, and when I attempted to call the phone number found on the Walt Disney World Resort website for Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, this was rerouted to a call center representative who admitted that since they were answering the call remotely and not from the Resort Hotel itself, they could not personally confirm whether a package had arrived. I was eventually able to be connected to a Front Desk Cast Member after several attempts, so I recommend having as much information available when you call including tracking information or reference numbers, the date that it was received as well as general dimensions of the package so that they can confirm whether it is still there.
    • You may also have some luck with the new contact form found through the Help Center, where a Cast Member may be able to assist you when they contact you back directly. Here is also a great opportunity to provide as many details as possible with your request so that they're able to locate your package easier!
    As I've observed and experienced over the past few years, policies and procedures with package handling are always subject to change without prior notice so I recommend reaching out to them sooner than later. Come back to planDisney again for any other tips or advice in the meantime!
