Hi Carol Anne, and welcome to planDisney. Your vacation will be here in just a few months, so let’s make sure you're stocked up on groceries to fuel those theme park days!
Now that my family brings my baby nephew with us to Disney World, we always place grocery orders. It’s so convenient to have breakfast food and snacks on hand when we’re on the go. There are many local grocery stores and companies that deliver to
Disney Resort hotels.
I checked with Bell Services at
Animal Kingdom Lodge and, while they can accept grocery orders without alcohol, someone from your party 21 years of age or older needs to be present with photo identification to receive orders with alcohol. Once you get the order, you can leave it with Bell Services if your room isn’t ready yet. I’d recommend scheduling the delivery for when you plan to be at the pool or eating a meal back at your resort hotel, so it’ll be easy to go to the lobby to receive the order.
You picked the practically perfect time to visit Disney World this summer! In case you missed it, two new shows are debuting at
Hollywood Studios on May 27, 2025, just in time for your trip in June. As a big Ariel fan, I’m most excited for
The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure. I love the songs from the movie and can’t wait to see the incredible puppetry and costumes they’ve been teasing. However, if you’re more Team Ursula,
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will be a must-do. Magic Mirror will be summoning our favorite Disney baddies to bring mischief and mayhem to the stage!
June is also a great time to take advantage of the
free water park admission on check-in day for Disney Resort hotel guests. And Disney Parks Blog just announced that
both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be open this summer for double fun in the sun!
I hope you have a pixie-dusted vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
