Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground; in costume; Mickey Balloons

    We stayed in one of the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort in September 2023 and we really liked the mattress. What is the mattress used in the cabins? I have seen a few post with different answers so wanted to check to be sure. Can we purchase one somewhere

     Welcome to planDisney, Bryan. I'm so glad you stopped by! 

     It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the mattress you slept on during your stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I don't know about you, but those pixie-dusted adventures I have in the theme parks wipe me OUT, making a comfortable sleep an absolute must. My dear friend and fellow panelist, Veronica, just loves The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort - so much so that she has their number on speed dial! She shared the number with me, so I just called the resort directly to get an answer for you. The friendly Cast Member I chatted with said that the mattress is a Beauty Rest mattress, but that the model itself is custom-made for the cabins, and not something that can be purchased by Guests. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you! I know that when I get a great sleep, I'm desperate to recreate it. I suppose you'll have to plan another trip to The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort?
