We have stayed at multiple DVC resorts, but this May we are planning a large family gathering at Kidani Village in a 3 bedroom Grand Villa. I have looked everywhere for a list of kitchen items and appliances. Can you help me? Specifically the Grand Villa

Jambo, Paige, and Welcome Home to the Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. It is always a treat to meet a fellow DVC Member, and I'm looking forward to helping you with your vacation planning question.

In a happy coincidence, I happen to be staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village right now! In the name of planDisney research, I took a break from watching the animals wander the savanna to investigate all the wonders the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas offer.  These are the perfect accommodations for a large family vacation, with lots of space for family time together, full kitchens to prepare meals, and even laundry facilities!  Cast Member Dorothy was able to help me track down a complete list of the amenities and appliances that you can expect to find in your villa. Here we go!

Appliances: 12-cup drip coffeemaker, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster, washer, and dryer.

Kitchen Items: Bowls, flatware, can and bottle opener, corkscrew, coffee mugs, glasses, ice bucket, plates, baking sheet, casserole dish, cooking and serving utensils, cookware set, mixing bowls, and storage containers.
    • Available on request: bed rails, blender, tea kettle, voltage converter, highchair, portable crib, electric mixer, broom, dustpan, and mop.
Paige, I think you will be very well-equipped for your vacation with all of the comforts of home awaiting you. With that information in your back pocket, let me share a few other great features of Kidani Village!

    • The exotic animals roaming the savanna are of course the main attraction at this unique resort. Pick up a Wildlife Field Guide from the Lobby Concierge and try to spot some of the more than 200 species that call Kidani Village home. The resort Animal Specialists also lead various programs to learn more about the animals and you can check the most up-to-date information when you check in.
    • Even if our family isn't staying at Kidani Village when we visit Walt Disney World Resort, we always save one evening to travel over for dinner at Sanaa, which is one of our very favorite restaurants on property. The food is amazing, and as a bonus, you'll get an up-close and personal view of the savanna and its inhabitants!
    • This resort has one of my kids' favorite Walt Disney World pools. The Samawati Springs Pool boasts a 128-foot waterslide and is a blast for family fun. The Uzima Springs Pool has a quieter vibe and I like to post up there with a good book and a cocktail from the pool bar.
    • There are campfire activities (complete with marshmallows!) and movies under the stars offered most evenings. You'll be able to see the schedule posted around the resort upon arrival.
Paige, I hope that you and your family have the most magical vacation!  It will be here before you know it. Please reach out again if our planDisney fam can help with any other planning questions.
