We stayed at the Grand Floridian in 2009. Have the rooms been renovated at all since then?

Hi Molly! The Grand Floridian Resort has always been one of my favorites. I love the large guest rooms, the prime location next to the Magic Kingdom, and the luxuriousness of the resort.

Lots of exciting renovations and construction have been happening at the Grand Floridian lately. The spa has been expanded and updated, the courtyard pool reopened with a new zero entry feature, and beautiful Disney Vacation Club villas are under construction. A new Alice in Wonderland splash zone play area has been added near the Beach Pool.  The last time I remember the guest rooms undergoing renovation was 2007. My family stayed at the Grand Floridian a few months ago, and the room in which we stayed did not appear to have been renovated again in the last few years.
