I stayed in DW 6 years ago and dined at the Grand Floridian Café. It was wonderful - we had a boat ride across to the restaurant and then over to the park (about a 5 min ride). I cant seem to find any information about this - do they still do this

    Kristy,

Yes, there is still a boat that takes passengers from the docks in front of the Magic Kingdom to the resort marinas at the Grand Floridian, as well as to the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. There are return rides as well.

They run most of the day, and into the evening. Times will be posted by the marina, and they have improved the directional signage so you know what pier to go to at the Magic Kingdom to get the correct boat. But if I recall correctly, those boats are on the right side pier, as you approach the docks FROM the Magic Kingdom park.

At the Grand Floridian the marina is located to the north of the resort, near the entrance to the Gasparilla Grill counter service restaurant.

Write me back if you need more details.

    Have a magical vacation!
