We have stayed at Coronado Springs and though the scenery was beautiful and pools were great, the room was too small for us. Our kids are 9 & 11. What resort would you suggest that has plenty of room and fun for our daughter and son? Thanks!

    Hi Daphne,

I understand your problem, even though my family and I have always been fine staying in a Disney hotel room for 14 nights more space would have been lovely. I think the best thing for me to do is to list the approximate room sizes and then if you have any follow up questions about any of those resorts you can ask again :-)

Coronado Springs - 314 sq ft
Caribbean Beach  and Wilderness Lodge - 340 sq ft
Animal Kingdom Lodge - 344 sq ft
Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach club - 380 sq ft
Grand Floridian - 400 sq ft
    Polynesian - 410 sq ft
    Contemporary - 422 sq ft
Fort Wilderness cabins - 504 sq ft

These are all unofficial approximate sizes that I found on an independent website.

As you can see the cabins offer the most space but if you still want to stay within the moderate price the Caribbean Beach is quite a bit bigger than Coronado so that may be worth considering. If you want lots of extra space how about considering a villa at one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts?

I hope I've you come to a decision and as I said please ask any follow up questions you have,

    Jo
