If you stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at BLT and GF lake view for both, what room would you request to stay in to be closest to Monorail, pool, lobby, bus stops. Also Beach Club, what room would you request to be closest to bus pick up/stop. Thanks so much.

    Hiya Lurline!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've asked a triple-loaded question, so let's jump right into planning your Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

First stop, Bay Lake Towers at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This is one of my family's favorite Resorts because it's all about location, location, location! You are walking distance from Magic Kingdom Park, and the Monorail runs straight through the Resort, you really can't get better convenience! The bus stops and Monorail are in the Main Building of the Resort, so for quick access, I would request a south room on the same level as the Skybridge, which is the 5th floor. If you want quick access to the pool and lobby, request a Villa that is close to the elevator.

All aboard the Monorail to our next stop at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The Villas are in an outer building, right next door to Disney's Wedding Pavillion and Senses Spa, so chances are you'll spot a bride or two in prep for the big day! There's a covered walkway that will take you from the Villas to the Main Building, on the way, you will pass the pool. To be closest to all.the.things, I would request a first-floor room on the north end.

Finally, Disney's Beach Club Villas, which is also in my family's top-three favorite Resorts! The location is fantastic (quick walks in opposite directions to EPCOT and Batuu), and Stormalong Bay is the best pool on property. The Villas are in a separate building to the east of the Main Building and bus stops. If you request a room in the north-west section of the building, that should place you closest to transportation. Also, if you ask for a room closer to the elevators, that will land you in the rotunda area, which is a quick stroll under a covered walkway to the Main Building.

Lurline, once you make your reservation, you can make room requests online at disneyvacationclub.com or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Remember, a request is just that, a request, so it's not guaranteed. ChEARs to your magical vacation!
