    We stayed at AOA last year. We are staying at CBR this year with my parents. If we drove to AOA would the gate guard let us in to nose around? We wanted to show my parents around 

    Hi Danielle!

    Don't you just adore Disney's Art of Animation Resort?  It's my families favorite Resort hotel.  My children often ask me when we are going to return to the '"animated hotel",  they love every inch of this fun Resort.  I can see why you want to show your parents the amazing details and fun theming, I would too!   

    You certainly can visit any Disney Resort during your visit to Walt Disney World.   It is actually one of my favorite things to do.   It also helps me convince my husband that we need to schedule another trip ASAP to enjoy a different Resort.   When you arrive at the gate, just let the guard know you are a Guest of another Disney Resort and you would like to look around Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  He may ask to scan your MagicBand or look at your i.d. before he opens the gate.   But you will have no problem at all gaining access to show your parents the AMAZING Resort hotel.
