We stayed at AKL this past fall and loved it but are looking for shorter transportation for next year. Cannot afford Poly, GF or CR so trying to decide between WL or AOA Nemo Suite. Have 4 &5yo. Will spend most time at MK and HS. Which do you recommend

    Hi Corie,

If transportation time is your issue, then I would 100% recommend the Wilderness Lodge. There is direct boat transportation between the WL and the Magic Kingdom. Hop on the boat and you're at the MK in 10 minutes. This is completely quick and convenient - and one of the many reasons that I'll be checking into the Wilderness Lodge myself this weekend.

There are bunk bed rooms at the WL that may be fun for your family - a queen bed plus bunk beds. My kids think this is a hoot in a hotel room. We also completely adore the Whispering Canyon Cafe restaurant at the WL. It's one of our favorites on property and we plan to eat there several times next week.

However, if you're looking for pure kid appeal, AoA is the way to go. The rooms are huge and the themeing is out of this world. Your children will be able to splash in a water play area designed for youngsters just about their age. While the AoA is fabulous, the transportation situation is not much different that the AKL, maybe just 3 or 4 minutes closer to the parks.

If you have a rental car, then AoA would be a fine choice. If you'll be relying on Disney transportation, I'd choose WL.
