When you stay at a wilderness cabin, can you check in ahead of time (avoiding lines)? Also, where do we pick up the golf cart that we will rent ahead of time ?

    Hey howdy hey, Cynthia!

I am glad you got your wagon train a movin' to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  How exciting that you are planning an adventure at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!  I will be staying in a cabin here with my son next week and I cannot wait to get there.  I have a feeling us Minnesotans will fit right in at this rustic resort!

Now, more than ever, is a great time to check in to your resort!  You can use online check in before you arrive using My Disney Experience.  When you check in online, you can provide contact information so that the resort can notify you once your cabin is ready.  Once you receive this notification, you can use your MagicBand or use the Unlock the Door feature on your My Disney Experience App to skip the front desk and go right to your cabin!

If you have reserved a golf cart rental during your visit, you can pick it up at the Reception Outpost.  This is the main building and front reception desk at the campground.  You can then channel Toy Story's RC and zoom around camp.  Swing by Tri-Circle-D Ranch and saddle up!  You can ride like the wind on horseback or relax on a wagon ride.  Finish off your evening with s'mores at Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long!

Mosey on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you plan for your adventure!

    See ya real soon!  Angie
