Hi Amy and welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you're planning a visit to
Walt Disney World this Spring! You've picked a great time of year to visit as you'll be able to experience all that the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has to offer. Believe me when I say that you won't find EPCOT looking as beautiful at any other time of year and the amazing Disney character-themed topiaries really are a sight to behold!
Going back to your question, Amy, unfortunately, whilst it is possible to purchase
Lightning Lane passes 7 days in advance of your check-in date, for your length of stay (up to 14-days), via the US version of the Walt Disney World website, it is not possible to do so via the UK version.
Currently, it is only possible for Guests from the UK to
purchase Lightning Lane passes upon arrival in the US.
In order to give you a wider variety of Lightning Lane experiences to choose from and arrival windows, I would suggest planning to purchase your Lightning Lane passes for the latter part of your stay.
On days where you will not be using Lightning Lane passes at the
Theme Parks, I would highly recommend taking advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests to help you to experience lower wait times for some of the most popular attractions.
Top Tip - Generally speaking, crowds tend to be quieter first thing in the morning, later in the evening, during standard meal times and whilst parades and nighttime entertainment/fireworks are taking place.
I hope that this has answered your question, Amy. Please feel free to revisit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
