Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Will stay at POP and have family stayin at POR. I will have my car. Does it cost to park at other resorts to visit and explore or do I use buses? Do buses stop running after certain time, what do u do if u are out late visiting boardwalk or resorts? thanks

    Hi Tashana,

    Lets see if I can help, everyone is welcome to visit Walt Disney World Resort hotels, even if they're not staying there, to dine or just explore. The only thing you're not allowed to do is use the swimming pools. When you arrive at the resort by car just say you're visiting and they'll let you in, often you'll be given a parking pass for a certain length of time, and you'll be pleased to know parking is free.

    Disney buses tend to run until about 2 hours after the park has closed, so the best way to get back to your Disney resort from another resort or the Boardwalk once the parks are shut is to catch a bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer to your home resorts bus. This can take some time so you may want to consider catching a taxi which are available at all Disney hotels.
