I would like to stay at the Polynesian. My wife is a very picky eater and I'm concerned that she may find it difficult to find food she would eat. Do the resort restaurants take requests?

    Hello, Kevin!

With the number of dining options and experiences available at Walt Disney World, there is something for every food craving. You'll find everything from chicken nuggets to gourmet, multi-course meals to a host of culturally diverse cuisines.

At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort alone, your dining options include Capt. Cook's, a quick service location that offers breakfast platters, sandwiches, and some Polynesian favorites; Kona Cafe, a table service restaurant featuring flavors of the Hawaiian islands and Asia; and 'Ohana, one of the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World.

For picky eaters, many things can be customized. Sauces can be left off, spices adjusted. If there's something on the menu your wife will eat, but it has some component of the dish she doesn't eat, they can leave it off. Ask when you place your order what adaptations can be made.

I think you'll be able to find something for even the pickiest eater at just about every resort dining location. You can always reach out to Special Dietary Requests if you think you'll need to go above and beyond.

    Happy travels!
