Hey, Rodney! Anyone who knows me will know that there must always be coffee. I think my Starbucks baristas know me better than my own kids do some days.
The coffee makers in
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are the standard variety of drip coffee pot, which will brew up a big cup first thing in the morning. When you arrive, there are usually two sets of coffee supplies - one might be decaf, so beware if you're looking to jump start your day. They do replenish the supply on cleaning day, but you can bring your own or order it through the
Disney Vacation Club grocery delivery. That way, we don't have to worry about running low.
Because you are at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, I'll give you this coffee lovers tip. Located in the Great Ceremonial House, you'll find
Kona Island. In the morning, this is the perfect coffee bar, with some of the world's best coffee. You can get a Kona Blend press pot for two to enjoy with a pastry, or you can enjoy one of your favorite coffee shop creations, like a latte or a macchiato. Oh, and if you're feeling a little hangry (that's so hungry you feel angry!) in the evening, my favorite Kona Island coffee bar transforms into an awesome sushi bar. You'll also find some awesome entrees and appetizers to-go. I have to admit, my family might have taken an order of sticky wings to-go back to our villa one night, only to have to walk right back to get a second order by the time we got to our villa. Yep, they're that good.
Have a wonderfully caffeinated visit to Walt Disney World!
