Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    I like to stay at POFQ and love the look of the refurb rooms but at only 5ft 1 the safes look too high for me to reach, are they, if so will a step stool be supplied. i dont want to use a safe at reception and not keen to have to climb on a chair

     Welcome back to planDisney, Andrea. We're delighted to see you again! We're always happy to help you plan your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. 

     Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is just lovely. The cobblestone streets, wrought-iron balconies, gaslit lamps, and smooth sounds of jazz in the air completely transport Guests to the romantic heart of New Orleans! You ask an excellent question. As a petite woman, there is plenty that is often out of my reach too! The in-room safes are mounted on the wall in the closet area. I can't tell you exactly how high it's mounted, but I can tell you that at 5 feet 2 inches, the safe is about where my shoulder is. You should have no trouble accessing the safe and storing your valuables there!

     Be sure to stop by Scat Cat's Club - Café for freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped, Tiana-approved beignets. They're heavenly! Each order comes with your choice of dipping sauce. I recommend the strawberry. YUM!
