Do you have to stay on Park in order to get the Disney Dining Plan?

Hi Michael!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is a very popular way for Guests to prepay for their meals for their Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  There are currently three dining plans, featuring a combination of snacks, Quick-Service meals, and/or Table-Service meals.  Especially for families that plan to dine at quite a few Character Dining locations or enjoy Signature Dining experiences, a Dining Plan can offer savings.

A Dining Plan can only be added to a vacation package that includes Theme Park tickets and a stay at a Disney Resort Hotel.  Although there are no current Resort Hotel offers for stays in December, keep your eye on the Special Offers page to see if an offer pops up that is right for you.  Even without a Disney Dining Plan, all Walt Disney World Guests are welcome to make reservations to dine at Table-Service locations up to 180 days in advance.

December is wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have questions about all the holiday events or would like suggestions for planning your vacation, please visit the Moms Panel again.  We are always happy to help.
