Hi John!
I'm so excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help.
When you stay at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel, the onsite benefits like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours will only be available during the days of your stay at the Disney hotel. Once you check out and move to an offsite location, those perks won’t carry over for the remainder of your trip, even if you have a multi-day park ticket.
- Early Theme Park Entry: This benefit allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes before the official opening, and it’s available every day of your stay at a Disney Resort hotel.
- Extended Evening Theme Park Hours: This perk is exclusive to guests staying at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas, allowing you to stay later in select parks on certain nights. Like Early Entry, this benefit is only available while staying at a qualifying Disney Resort.
- Theme Park Tickets: Your park tickets are valid for the number of days you’ve purchased, but the onsite benefits are tied to your hotel reservation, not the ticket itself.
So, during the first three days when you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you’ll enjoy all those magical perks. Once you move to your offsite hotel, you’ll still have access to the parks, but without the extra benefits like early entry.
Personally, I've stayed both onsite and offsite through the years, and our vacations have been magical either way. While the early and late entry are nice perks, the time spent with my family and friends in the theme parks - no matter the time of day, has created memories to last a lifetime.
I hope this helps with your plans and preparations for your upcoming Disney vacation!
