I have a reservation for breakfast at 8:30 in Magic Kingdom. Early park entry starts at 8:30 am. What is the earliest time can I enter the park to go to this reservation?

    Hi Samantha!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help!

When you have a breakfast reservation inside Magic Kingdom Park before the official park opening, Disney will allow you to enter the park early, even before the start of Early Theme Park Entry. This is to make sure you have enough time to reach your dining location and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

With an 8:30 AM breakfast reservation, you can generally expect to enter the park around 8:00 AM or a bit earlier. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom, look for a dedicated entrance line marked for guests with early dining reservations. Cast Members will be stationed there to check your reservation details, so have your confirmation number handy or show it on your My Disney Experience app.

Once inside, you can head straight to your dining location. Whether you’re dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table or The Crystal Palace, you’ll have a bit of extra time to make your way through the park and soak in the early morning atmosphere. One of the perks of having an early breakfast reservation is getting to experience Main Street, U.S.A., with fewer people around! It’s a great time to snap some photos in front of Cinderella Castle without the usual daytime crowds. One of my favorite photos of my daughters (that I actually used for our Christmas card that year!) was taken before an early breakfast reservation at Magic Kingdom. It looked like we were the only ones in the park!

Arriving early ensures you have a relaxed experience and can fully enjoy your breakfast before the park starts to fill up with guests. Plus, after breakfast, you’ll already be inside the park and ready for adventure as soon as the attractions open! An early dining reservation is a great way to begin your day with a head start on the fun.

I hope you make magical memories on your Disney vacation!
