    We r stay at one of the All Star resorts and purchasing tickets for 4 days. We will be staying 6 days. With the dining package if we wanted to dine at another resort without going through a park, how would be do that. Transportation available?

    Hi Kayla,

    I hope you enjoy a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts. The All Star Resorts are a good value and have fun activities if you want to take a break from the parks. 

    With the Disney Dining Plan or any other dining reservation, you do not need to enter a park to enjoy a restaurant at a resort. However, you do need to make a park or Downtown Disney your transfer point. You could call a taxi but unless it is an early morning or a late night reservation, I would stick with Disney's transportation. Simply go to the park that is closest to the resort you want to visit, then take the transportation from that park to the resort. 

    However, if you are purchasing the dining plan, you will need to be on a package. The dining plan is linked to your park tickets. You need to have tickets that are tied to your room reservation and match your length of stay. This means you will have a six day ticket not a four. If you want to purchase your tickets separately or have it for a shorter length of time, you will not be able to use the dining plan.
