We will like to stay on one of the Moderate resorts and will like to know which gives you more for your money, we have a 8&5yr old girls and will like to save as much as possible since this is our first vacation to WDW. Any suggestions on the best deal

    Judith,

The easy answer is that they are all equally great, so if you end up in one instead of another, you should be fine.

But let's get to the question, really! I would say that with your girls your best bet is to stay at Port Orleans - Riverside. Why?

    1. Boat ride access to Downtown Disney - You can hop on a free boat that takes you to the shopping and dining mecca, giving you a great evening escape, in case you are tired of hitting the parks.
    2. Food court and table service dining - The convenience of the dining here is a real plus.
    3. Resort Ambiance - There is more of a buzz here, and more to explore as you walk the grounds.

A possible other option is the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Recently reclassified as a Moderate Resort, they have a separate bedroom, allowing you to stay up after the girls have gone to bed. Transportation takes longer, and I would say that my initial recommendation is probably better for you, but this is still worth a quick review on the website.

I am more than glad to field any follow-up questions that you might have!

    Have a magical vacation!
